La ortografía es el conjunto de normas que regulan la representación escrita de una lengua.

Vamos a tocar la primera letra del alfabeto.

La ‘A’ es la letra que se repite con más frecuencia en el diccionario de la Real Academia Española,

La letra a es en un sonido casi universal que se encuentra a la cabeza de numerosas lenguas; excepciones importantes son el mongol o el tibetano, entre otros.

 No necesita ninguna articulación.

Sólo es necesario abrir la boca y emitir el sonido.

No es como la E, I, O y U que necesitan la participación de los labios, lengua y dientes para pronunciarlos.

Por lo que respecta al parecido entre la alfa (Α) y la alef(א), realmente existe .

La evolución gráfica lo ha hecho bastante remoto.

La llamada álef, es una palabra en fenicio que significa «buey«, y por tanto la A tenía un aspecto primitivo parecido a una cabeza de bovino.

Más tarde los griegos llamaron a la A «alfa» y le dieron un valor sonoro, vocálico.

 La A es la vocal más común en la gran mayoría de lenguas, con notables excepciones como en el caso del francés y del inglés, en los que la más común es la E.

Aunque se podría pensar que la letra a es la usada con más frecuencia en el idioma español tenemos que se encuentra en el segundo lugar siguiendo a la letra e.

Sin embargo en los diccionarios de la Real Academia Española se puede notar un uso mayor de esta letra contradiciendo la estadística anterior.

En el idioma inglés la letra a se computa como la tercera más usada con frecuencia de 8% y en francés se encuentra en segundo lugar con un uso de 7.6%; en los textos alemanes.

Sin embargo, la letra tiene una frecuencia de 6,51 %, figurando en el sexto lugar, en portugués es la tercera letra más usada con frecuencia relativa de 36,8%.

JUEGOS PARA NIÑOS.

  • Si van de viaje, una excelente forma de amenizar las horas muertas cuando ya todos están deseando llegar al destino es la de buscar objetos del paisaje que empiecen, en este caso con la letra “a”.

  • Se trata de que al final de cada representación gráfica los niños digan el porqué eligieron expresarse así, con lo que evitaremos un reguero de colorines esparcidos por el suelo.

  • Mantener una conversación cualquiera omitiendo el resto de las vocales excepto la “a”.

  • Si aún son muy pequeñitos, podemos reaprender alguna canción infantil que conozcan muy bien de la misma manera.

  • Esto suele tener un éxito seguro entre todos los niños.
