La escritura automática es desconocida.

La escritura automática en grafología se la relaciona básicamente con la disposición del individuo para contactar con otro tipo de inteligencias por mediación del útil y el papel mientras se encuentra en un estado meditativo.

La escritura automática te mantiene en trance.

Uno se conecta por así decirlo y ellos realizan la escritura, con frecuencia pasando por encima de la propia conciencia de uno, que no se percata de lo que está escribiendo hasta que termina.

Se saldrá de ese estado especial tan pronto como ellos dejen de escribir.

A la escritura automática también se la conoce como psicografía y muchas personas creen sinceramente que están recibiendo mensajes de difuntos u entidades que no habitan en sí en nuestra vida real.

Es por ello que al no ser posible determinar la autenticidad de lo expuesto no es tomado realmente en serio.

La mano se mueve como si tuviera vida por si misma, sin la participación de la voluntad, hasta el punto de que con frecuencia se suele sentir un hormigueo como si hubiese sido por breve tiempo parte de alguien más.

La escritura automática es espontánea.

Podrá sentir un ligero vaivén  en su mano o brazo, o en la parte superior de la cabeza, o puede que sienta como que la mano está muy pesada o demasiado ligera.

El propósito de la escritura automática es vencer la censura que se ejerce sobre el inconsciente, merced a unos actos creativos no programados.

A quienes se prestan para esta labor se les denomina canal. Este proceso a menudo se ha asociado a una actividad psíquica (mediumnidad), puesto que la escritura automática se realiza esencialmente en un estado alterado de conciencia.

En otras ocasiones ciertos “canales” caen en un estado de trance, mientras que otros permanecen totalmente despiertos y dejan que las palabras fluyan y con ellas el mensaje. Los mensajes vienen muy rápidamente, la fuerza del espíritu tiene una energía tan fuerte que envía de inmediato el mensaje.

La escritura automática no es un juego y no se recoienda su uso para quienes sean aprensivos y no sepan exactamente en que se están metiendo verdaderamente. Al escribir palabras sin ser conscientes de ello podrían darse alteraciones de la personalidad.

La primera vez que se mencionó la psicografía como una práctica relacionada con la esfera espiritual fue en la obra “De l’intelligence” del filósofo e historiador francés Hippolyte Taine en 1878.

La escritura automática surge por sí sóla.

Los detractores afirman que la psicografía o escritura automática puede ser un efecto ideomotor (movimientos inconscientes de manera automática), un automatismo inconsciente mientras la persona se encuentra en un estado disociado o simplemente el reflejo de un daño cerebral en el hemisferio derecho.

En grafología la escritura automática se puede describir como el resultado de determinados procesos mentales que no provienen de pensamientos conscientes.

En los procesos creativos, este método puede generar resultados muy interesantes.

De cualquier modo, aunque exista ese sesgo, necesario e inevitable por otra parte, el fin es experimentar con el subconsciente, provocar la salida de elementos difícilmente accesibles e invitar al que lo percibe y al propio autor de la escritura a sumergirse en el “juego”, a jugar con los resultados.

Al trabajar con la escritura automática se pueden perseguir varios objetivos, por una parte, relativos al propio proceso creativo: luchar contra la cohibición creativa de cualquier tipo; lograr un estado de abstracción suprema;  y superar el restrictivo miedo al papel en blanco, el miedo a quedarse bloqueado.

Es posible para cualquiera de nosotros intentar hacer un pequeño ejercicio de acercamiento hacia la escritura automática.

Me refiero a escribir los sueños en una libreta nada más despertarnos.

A lo largo del día la experiencia onírica desaparecerá como por encantamiento por lo que se recomienda aplazar otras tareas matinales como las del desayuno o las del aseo para no perder el hilo.

Lo interesante aquí para el grafólogo es observar los grafos plasmados en la hoja ya que del subconsciente aflorarán datos que de otra manera no podríamos obtener.

Algunos psicólogos sostienen que la escritura automática es un ejercicio de liberación necesario para desarrollar cualquier actividad creativa y, por supuesto, no es nuevo, a pesar de que existen razones de peso para afirmar que no es defendido ni explotado por una gran mayoría.
