La letra z, la gran desconocida, es la vigésima de nuestro abecedario.

Clasificada como consonante y que figura en el último lugar con respecto a las demás.

Precisamente por ocupar este espacio en el alfabeto, es harta conocida de todos nosotros aunque su uso no está tan extendido como el resto.

Curiosamente, embarcarse en la historia de los orígenes de la letra z nos hace entender un poco mejor en la similitud existente con el simbolismo propio que usamos en grafología.

Con esto me estoy refiriendo ni más ni menos que al uso del ángulo como tónica principal desde su principio hasta su fin.

La letra z deriva del proto-semaítico Za, que simbolizaba un puñal.

Los fenicios lo llamaban Zayin.

La letra z proviene directamente del alfabeto latino, que la toma del griego para transcribir la letra dseda ζ, que procede del zai fenicio, cuyo significado en arameo es arma.

Volviendo a o anterior, al uso del ángulo dentro de la grafología, podemos constatar que efectivamente la agresividad en cada uno de sus picos recuerda precisamente a eso, a armas punzantes, a violencia, dagas y demás.

Obviamente la letra z define la amplitud de nuestro carácter.

No es lo mismo realizarla con curvas suaves y limadas a con salientes que desde un primer golpe de vista nos indica gran agresividad.

La letra z existía antiguamente en latín, pero aunque en la época del censor Apio Claudio, c. 312 a. C., fue suprimida.

Vuelve a introducirse a mediados del siglo I a. C. para poder representar el sonido «s sonoro» proveniente del lenguaje griego.

Entonces fue colocada al final del alfabeto.

Dependiendo del tipo de caligrafía que de niños nos enseñaron, podemos realizar la letra z con pie o sin pie.

¿A que nos estamos refiriendo con esto?

Partiendo de la base de que le llamamos pie al bucle inferior que se asemeja a una “j” o a una “g”, existen personas que siguen realizándola así o simplemente en zig-zag con acaso un palote central cruzándola.

La parte inferior de la escritura indica siempre nuestra inclinación natural hacia los placeres mundanos, el buen comer, el buen dormir y claro, los impulsos sexuales.

Al ser la letra z una letra guerrera, este rasgo añadido en la zona inferior nos habla sobre todo de coquetería.

Dependiendo de lo ampuloso del mismo, sabremos exactamente las características de tal comportamiento dado que tampoco la realización del mismo tendrá variantes infinitas.

Entre otros grafólogos se extiende la idea de que es un rasgo de pura infidelidad.

Pero tranquilo.

Si usted no está conforme con esta opinión, no se preocupe. Una letra suelta no es determinante en el análisis de todo un escrito.

Los antiguos hebreos, muy al contrario, la catalogaban a la letra z como de “justicia”.

Sabiendo como sabemos lo hermética de su religión por aquellos tiempos, simbolizaban el manejo de esas dagas o cuchillos al uso del Dios absoluto que sabe repartir la ley.

En una sociedad en la que el derramamiento de sangre, ya sea para sacrificar animales a los ídolos o para eliminar adversarios molestos, la angulosidad de la letra z tenía casi un significado sagrado.

Y si ustedes están esperando un futuro bebé y todavía no han decidido que nombre va a ser el que le quieren poner, recuerden que la cultura popular es participe de determinadas creencias.

La primera letra del nombre posee toda la fuerza de los atributos personales que le acompañan.

Si la criatura va a escuchar durante toda su vida el nombre que le hayan donado, cargará igualmente con la potencia de esta letra, en este caso la de la letra z.
