La importancia de la calígrafía va mucho más allá de enseñar a nuestros hijos a escribir bien.
Tras dejar atrás los primeros intentos de escritura rupestre en las cuevas paleolíticas, nos encontramos con los pictogramas.
Estos fueron evolucionando en Grecia, Roma, Egipto, Sumeria o China hasta la concreción de un alfabeto adecuado.
Los instrumentos utilizados por los calígrafos son determinantes para saber los pasos establecidos por cada pueblo para plasmar sus documentos.
Y es que si buscamos la palabra caligrafía en el diccionario, encontraremos que es el arte de escribir con letra bella y correctamente formada según diferentes patrones.
En occidente y tras los altibajos de la historia nos corresponde usar la caligrafía latina, creada por los romanos.
La importancia de la caligrafía sobre todo radica en que se ha de utilizar siempre la mano. Usar trucos de ordenador se considera un plagio.
Además de contribuir a potenciar nuestras habilidades motoras es indispensable para hacernos entender a nivel social.
Una letra clara, aunque no necesariamente idéntica a la de las plantillas escolares, es una tarjeta de presentación siempre favorable.
